A confused state of mind!

What is Confusion?
Literally speaking: Confusion is an unclear or indistinct state of mind.

When I am confused about something, I become restless until I find out my way, clear the wind and understand my thoughts. It, then, becomes easy to control, to think through the thoughts and to clear out the state of confusion.

What would one do, when he is confused because of someone else's which cannot be controlled? There are times when someone - parents, sibling, friends or loved ones are so dear and so precious, that if they are troubled, you get troubled too.

If my near and dear ones get troubled, are confused or suffering, I get so involved with the thought process, that it starts stressing me out too. When my father is stressed on things, it comes naturally to me to be with him and comfort him. Like a close knit family, my parent, my siblings and me, all are there for each other. I think, thats how I have been brought up, to be with the one's you love at the times of crisis.

So when crisis occur, different people handle it differently. Some talk about it and discuss to seek help (if needed), while there are some who go into a confused state of mind.

I read this somewhere, the more you talk about confusions and issues, the more they seem to drift away. The problems don't get any bigger or smaller when you talk about them. They just seem light and controllable. I personally believe this to be true. A few of my friends feel better when they talk to me about their problems. Not that I am philosophical writer or something, who would give them a wise advice, however, at least they feel light and comfortable after talking to me.

Is it healthy for the confused mind to remain alone and think about issues confusing it, until your head starts to pain and you get into a trance condition?

While I try to figure this out, I am confused about the confusion created by a very dear confused mind.

Signing off, hoping that I can be of some help!

I guess a person is confused when at a time he/she cannot decide on the +ve and -ve aspects of a decision properly. So, as a well wisher I always make sure that the confused person see clearly the +ve and -ve and thier imapct on his/her life.
